Mrs. Pool is the enthused Site Coordinator of the King Academy After School Program. Mrs. Pool has been described as a caring, energetic, and creative professional by colleagues. She strives to ensure that each student she comes into contact with not only learns valuable skills and life lessons but that they enjoy the experience of learning while in high school.

 

Mrs. Pool does her best to create an environment where high school students can feel accepted and free to learn skills that would help prepare them for life after high school. Within the King Academy After School Program student learning, safety and exploration maintains to be the highest priority. 

 

Ms. LaQuetta Abbott

                 

Ms. AbbottMs. Abbott is entering her first-year teaching in a high school setting. She is very excited to be a part of the After-School Program! Her background is in early childhood development and, she is looking forward to the new challenges and adventures this position has to offer. Furthermore, she believes that each child is a blessing and deserves respect.

Mr. Taveon Bernard 

 

Mr. BMr. Bernard AKA Mr. "B" is an aspiring teacher who is currently completing his freshman year of college. He has a passion for learning and has always loved school. His love for school is the reason he chooses to pursue a career in education. Mr. B’s main focus working with the After School Program is to expose his students to ideas and various levels of thinking. He enjoys sharing experiences with his students and helping them prepare them for their transition into adulthood. 

 

 

Montray Norris 
 

Mr. NorrisMr. Norris was born in Houston, TX. He loves to play sports, exercise and learn new ways to make money. In addition to joining the After School Program Team Mr. Norris is also a firefighter & the first to go to college in his immediate family. Some of the things that interest Mr. Norris are cooking, reading, politics, art, basketball, design, and travel. Mr. Norris also has plans to live in the United Kingdom.
