Principal - Dr. Amber Grady

For the past 17 years, Dr. Grady has served as a principal, associate principal, assistant principal and academic facilitator in district’s across Houston including Fort Bend ISD Lamar Consolidated ISD. She received her doctorate in educational leadership/supervision and master’s in educational administration from Lamar University. She holds a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies from the University of North Texas. She is currently completing courses to obtain her Superintendent Certification.

Throughout her career in education, Dr. Grady has led numerous district, state, and national professional development sessions centered around Mathematics Instruction for teachers and administrators, and Instructional Best Practices for the at-risk student. Dr. Grady has also established a proven track record for transforming campuses, particularly At-Risk and Title I schools, towards academic success. One of Dr. Grady’s most recent accomplishments was obtaining the title of the 2021 Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) Assistant Principal of the Year. 

“I am looking forward to working with the Sheldon team and meeting the students, families and staff that will attend this new campus,” Dr. Grady said. “I believe that every child can dream big and achieve whatever they set their minds to do.”
